sadness
my mind chasing the horizon
following sunsets
stretch      it       o u  t
forgotten
but not
gone
my heart still beats 
chestpounding reminder
of weakness
  mortality
quickening under the stars 
 I  
   am
    fluid
     running 
       downhill
             over
              grass
               trees
              sanity
