and you've come so far
just to see me
and now you can feel me
I just can't keep myself at bay
I'm lost and melted into you
    blind, deaf, and mute, with my tongue woven into you
my heart rams itself into the walls of my chest
and what a gift, to be alone with you
so many seconds of breaths breathed
so many minutes our eyes meet
and hours we're together
make the days, our love, away
my skin, my insides, my soul beneath your palms
my eyelids, cheeks, lips below your fingertips
my hands on your neck, in your hair, and embrace you
lost in thoughts, jumbled pleasure & contentment
before you know it I lie asleep
my exhausted, contented warmth pressed against you
your mighty arms hold sleeping-me.
    and your love holds me.
    and I smile in my sleep.
